Throw in an idiotic motorcycle club, an annoying girlfriend (who he should've dumped in the movie AND in real life) and some great one liners and you've got a great movie. The 70's flared jeans, and the feathered hair adds to the laid back, loose flow vibe. Just enjoy it for what it is - A fun movie where you can leave your brain at the door. In the end he wasn't any better off than when he started, but his enemies were worse off. That was the joke.
